A few years ago my sweet cousin, Candice, was getting married. We all traveled to Florida for the wedding. While sitting at the hotel for a few days, Glen Meadows and I played around with some music I had written and together we wrote the words for a Wedding Day song for Candice. We had planned on playing it at the reception as a little token of our love for her but I broke a string just as we were finishing up the song. About a week after the wedding, we gathered in my home studio and recorded the song with several other family members and friends pitching in for various instruments and backing vocals. I created a professional CD with fold out booklet and various versions of the song and we presented it to Candice.
She cried.
Of course this little song will always be special to those involved. Glen and I hope you enjoy it just the same.
